Treatments
  • Removed extremely thin layer of ratty fiberglass from attic flat
  • Sprayed 2" closed cell foam to seal attic flat, blew cellulose for R-50, new hatch & chimney dam & seal
  • Dense packed small attic - no prior insulation
  • Dense packed 3rd small attic slants & gable end wall
  • Air sealed & blew cellulose in 4th small attic
  • Dense packed walls
  • Foamed basement rim joist, above grade walls, 1' below grade, sprayed with intumescent paint
  • Installed bathroom fan with timer switch
  • Installed vapor barrier on basement earth sections
  • Blower-door assisted air sealing

  • Reduced Air Flow by 40.7%

  • Foamed rim joist with 3" 2-part closed cell foam
  • Installed 2 new fans in bathrooms, vented to outside
  • Blower-door assisted air sealing

  • Expected Energy Savings - approximately $767/year - 33.8%

  • Dense packed band joist between 1st & 2nd floors 
  • Dense packed walls with settled cellulose
  • Blower-door assisted air sealing

  • Reduced air flow by 47.8%
  • Expected Energy Savings - approximately $810/year - 32.9%
  • Reduced carbon footprint by 4,504 lbs CO2/year
